Summer Term 1- April - May 2024 - Gallery and Work
As part of our top, the Kingdom of Benin, we have been researching what life was like during this time period. We found out that ‘Oba’ means king, only men could be the oba, most of the land was owned by the kings, the army was very well organised, they used instruments to confuse warriors in battle and they made shields from wood and crocodile skin.
