Autumn Term 2024 - Sept - Oct
PE
Try! Year 5 have started our PE sessions where we are learning rugby skills. We have practised running with the ball, passing backwards and scoring a try. We will continue to develop these skills during this half term.
Art
The four gentlemen – bamboo, plum blossom, orchid and chrysanthemum. These plants have been used in Chinese art for more than a thousand years, not only for their beauty but for the characters and symbolism that they have been given. We have used varied brush strokes and techniques to paint these using watercolour.
